The serene and tranquil atmosphere of Atea Lodge assures guests of peaceful accommodation and a refreshing visit to The Coromandel. Lounges, hammocks and a spa are on the main decks for guests use and relaxation. The views are spectacular.
The guest accommodation consists of three private rooms. Two of the luxuriously appointed rooms have queen size beds and open onto large covered decks through french doors. Views of the valley and ocean abound. The third room has a king size bed, lounge with built-in television and video, writing desk and walk-in wardrobes.
All rooms have tasteful décor, quality chattels, telephone, television, refrigerator, iron/ironing board, extra pillows, electric under blanket and private ensuite bathroom with hairdryer, bathrobes, toiletries, full length mirror.
Breakfast and Dinner
Guests are served breakfast in the dining room. During the day guests may choose to use the dining room to relax in and enjoy tea and coffee. Evening meals are booked at any of the first class restaurants in Coromandel Town.
Guests may choose to enjoy a glass of New Zealand wine and a selection of nibbles prior to dinner, after which Atea offers a chauffeured return service to a restaurant.
Children
Cannot be accommodated at Atea due to the nature of the terrain. The Lodge is designed with double rooms for adult guests only.
Smoking
In the interests of other guests, a no smoking policy exists. Should a guest wish to smoke, they may do so in the grounds.
Arrival and Departure
Arrivals are requested to be no earlier than 2:30pm and departures no later than 11am.
Pets
Atea is not suitable for pets.
